Pirates of the Caribbean fans got their first glimpse of the series’ fourth installment courtesy of director Jerry Bruckheimer, who tweeted a photo of Johnny Depp in full Captain Jack Sparrow gear for the world to see.

In his Tweet, Bruckheimer touted:

On location in Hawaii….CAPTAIN JACK IS BACK. Pirates of The Caribbean On Stranger Tides, coming Summer 2011

Not a whole lot of information about On Stranger Tides is known, aside from the fact that Penelope Cruz will step in to fill the void of Keira Knightley’s absence. According to IMDB:

Captain Jack Sparrow (Depp) crosses paths with a woman from his past (Cruz), and he’s not sure if it’s love — or if she’s a ruthless con artist who’s using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth.
