Okay, I don’t hate this poster, but it must be said…the recent batch of fan made posters were decidedly better. Summit needs to hire some of the very talented fans to put some real love into their promo materials.

I kinda like the poster, but I think it’s more an Eclipse poster than a New Moon one. Jake looks like he is about to have a fight with Edward, Bella is kinda calming Jake down, and poor Edward has a comprehensive/sad face, just like in Eclipse….

To Andy: Kstew looks like that because she is supposed 2 be soooo much in pain,remember?New Moon is about Bella’s pain and the poster does not show it.I’m a little bit disappointed.

i expected it to be much, much better. there is somthing seriously wrong with this poster. i thought they had a bigger budget this time? couldn’t they get some talented people tp make the poster? well rob and kris still looks great despite the airbrushing. What a dissapointment

I think its quite disappointing.
This is just like the stuff that everyone else has been producing, some were better.
I thought with the bigger budget they have now, they would have had something a little more bloody epic than a cheesy poster like this. (I’m really hoping Chris Weitz had nothing to do with the making of this poster, a monkey could have done it)

I agree with the post above (Cassie) and Andy.
They could have done something a lot more epic and extraordinary. I think people forget the effect a great poster can have.

I love this poster! I like that Bella has her hands on Jacob since this book is about her relationship with him and not Edward! Although I am Team Edward, I love Jacob and the conflict the three of them bring to the story! I am soooo excited!! Good stuff!!

Well…. it’s beautiful but… if you’d read New Moon you’d know Jacob should be front and center, then Bella next to him and Edward behind both of them. But since all three are gorgeous people and the essence of the story is the tug of war over Bella, it conveys that. Still… I think for New Moon, that Jacob and Bella should be prominent. Edward absented himself and Jacob helped her recover, the little wolf angel.

omg this poster so disapionting…i agree with all the posts about they could have dont much better…with so much money they could have atleast spend some time doign teh poster n yeaa a monkey n a donkey would have doen a better job….

wow this is really bad. like epic failure. this is supposed to show bella’s sadness over edward leaving, jacob is just supposed to be some guy that helps her through it. the message of this poster is all wrong, the fan mode posters are much better. they had better come out with other ones that better represent new moon

On the poster: the girl seems to be shared between two men!

Duuud i mean, it may not be what some imagend. but for some reason this poster suites the book. like the poster for twilight, was alirght i like the one with just edward and bella most. but yah. but this totally suites new moon. i mean…it makes sense. edward looks lostwith out bella, bella is holding jacobs arms…. this book she start holding out for him and by the fourth until she turns she doesnt want to let go and jacobs face makes sense….he turns warewolf this book and he looks angry, hurt, and in pain. Thats howhe feels. in new moon. i think the poster is amazing..

Calm down people! This poster is just the initial teaser poster. There will be more to come as the movie gets closer. Personally, I think it’s an amazing poster. Stop focusing on only the physicality of the characters/actors and grasp all the elements of how it’s been presented. It has nothing to do with having a bigger budget nor lacking of artists. Stop complaining.

LOL. you’re so right. every time he opens his mouth all i see is teeth, teeth, teeth. he’ll never be equal to robert, acting or looks-wise.

why does all three of them look so wierd. taylor looks horrible i can’t even recognize him! the message is all wrong, agree with crystal, i expected somthing like that too. we would think with a good budget you can do extroadinary things!! they could of made an amazing poster. even fanmade artwork is better then this

I agree with u katherine.New Moon is more about Bella and Jacob so they must be more prominent in the posters.I hope they would do something about this in the next posters they’ll make.Of course,this first poster is about money-there being more teens that scream 4 RPatzz so Edward is more prominent.It looks like the movie would not be the same as the book with so many changes.This remains 2 be seen though..

To Pinky: If u want RPAttz’s poster alone 4 New Moon then u don’t know what u r talking about.The movie is not just Edward/RPAttz.I pity the whole cast of the twilight saga 4 people like u, Pinky who think like RPAttz is the only one who should be credited 4 the success of the movie..It’s a team work.
