It’s no secret that Abby Lee Miller is a fighter. From her tenure on the hit show Dance Moms to her yearlong prison, the 51-year-old has made it clear that she has no intentions of backing down from any fight — even cancer.
The reality TV star recently went in for her second back surgery, and shared a graphic update about her battle against the disease with her many fans.
Abby Lee Miller may be out of prison, but she’s got a long way to go before she’s out of the woods when it comes to her difficult battle against cancer.
The Dance Moms alum recently revealed that she just had a second surgery on her back, and seemed hopeful things will start to be looking up health-wise. In a graphic Instagram post, she let fans know that just what the doctors had done.
On the social media platform, the reality TV star shared a photo of her back, complete with a long scar running down the center and several stitches.
“After the 2nd surgery, my back is finally on the mend. I just wish the top section [and] bottom would hurry along too!” the dance teacher captioned the photo. “I had 52 staples perfectly aligned and now a bunch of crazy stitches are holding my neck & lumbar region together!”
Fans quickly offered their support for the 51-year-old.
“Wow! That’s a long scar but mainly healed well! Well done and keep up the good progress and positive attitude,” wrote @onlyjannow.
@lizimperio added, “The road to recovery isn’t ever easy for any dancer, we want back on our feet ASAP. Recovery is the most important aspect to ensure a healthy future. Take care of yourself and [know] the world is rooting for you.”
