Amanda Bynes’ “Major Relapse” Threatens Her Health
Source says the actress is "hanging by a thread"
Amanda Bynes raised major concern among friends, family, and fans five years years ago when she started exhibiting erratic behavior in public. Her episodes included two DUI busts and setting a small fire on a neighbor’s property at their worst. The highly publicized breakdown resulted in the actress being placed in a facility on an involuntary psychiatric hold in 2014 at which time her parents were forced to step to take conservatorship over her.
Though the 31-year-old has since sought treatment for her issues — and recently hit a three-year sobriety milestone — close friends are worried she will slip back into old ways after “something sent her spiraling,” according to a source. As the insider explains, “It’s a major relapse.”
