Apparently, This ‘RHOC’ Star Got Fined for Bad-Mouthing Her Castmate
Kelly Dodd just can't stop herself
Kelly Dodd is out of the frying pan and heading straight into the fire.
The Real Housewife of Orange County star is known to talk smack about her castmates, but her public jabs at her co-stars have apparently gotten so nasty that they’re even angering some executives over at Bravo.
The 42-year-old appeared on Jeff Lewis’ Sirius XM radio show, Jeff Lewis Live, on May 4. During the interview, she revealed that new housewives would be added to the cast and how — naturally — they would be butting heads with some of the series’ OGs.
While teasing about the upcoming season, she also called her co-star, Vicki Gunvasion, a “backstabbing b***h” for going on a double date with her ex-husband, Michael Dodd, behind her back.
On Jeff’s show on May 11, he revealed to guest star Lea Black that he received some flack from Bravo for airing Kelly’s comments about her co-stars. Apparently, the network wasn’t too happy that Kelly spilled the beans about the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Orange County , or that she took a jab at Vicki. In fact, even Jeff got into a bit of trouble over the whole affair.
Bravo, You’ve Got a Fine
“We want to extend a very sincere apology to Bravo and to Kelly Dodd because apparently last week Kelly Dodd was on our show and upset a few people at Bravo. She was reprimanded and apparently fined,” Jeff said on the show.
However, he went on to say that he didn’t necessarily disagree with Kelly’s comments.
“Apparently, the big thing that I think got their attention was Kelly had referred to Vicki last week on our show as a backstabbing b***h which honestly is kind of accurate. But nevertheless, from what I understand, there was a fine imposed,” Jeff added.
He continued, saying, “I don’t know the specifics. But apparently, if you call out your fellow [castmate] in a public arena and you say things negatively, you are reprimanded by Bravo and subsequently fined it sounds like.”
Pick Your Side
Previously, fellow RHOC star Tamra Judge was fined after she slammed Vicki over the rumors the reality star had spread about her husband, Eddie Judge. Jeff went on to say that he suspects that Vicki was the one who turned Kelly and Tamra into Bravo.
Previously, Jeff raised trouble for the network when he did an interview where he said he believed Vicki couldn’t get along with Tamra or Shannon Beador.
“The fact is you’ve got two islands, and you have Vicki on one island and Tamra and Shannon on another island. And it’s not working. They have to let somebody go,” Jeff told Heather McDonald on her Juicy Scoop podcast.
“I love Vicki. I’ve been friends with Vicki for a long time. I think she’s a great part of the program, but she’s not working with the girls, and just when you think there’s going to be a reconciliation, she hurls these horrible, vicious, nasty, untrue accusations,” he continued.
“Is that really going to warm up these girls to where they’re going to reconcile and hang out with you? I think Vicki has done this to herself and maybe it’s time.”
