Kendall's setting the record straight
Kendall Jenner can’t keep her name and private life out of the headlines. The runway star recently gave a tell-all interview to Vogue this week and opened up about the talk about her personal life that’s been splashed across headlines for quite some time. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians mainstay has been at the center of tons of talk about her dating life and, uh, preferences, and she took the time to set the record straight in the interview.
Kendall’s got something to say!
Notoriously private Kendall Jenner is finally opening up. The KarJenner who undoubtedly keeps her personal life close to the chest gave a tell-all interview to Vogue this week and finally put some speculative talk to bed. The sometimes tom-boyish star has been at the center of plenty of talk about her sexual orientation of late as ― while her sisters are off flaunting their boos ― she has stayed suspiciously quiet and apparently single… at least according to her social media posts.
Here’s the deal…
In reality, the star is dating Pistons forward Blake Griffin, but you wouldn’t know it unless you are a truly devoted fan. Unlike sisters Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall prefers to keep her relationships to herself ― and she acknowledges that in the interview.
“I think it’s because I’m not like all my other sisters, who are like, ‘Here’s me and my boyfriend!’” she said. “So it was a thing for a minute because no one ever saw me with a guy. I would always go that extra mile to be low-key with guys, sneaking around all the time. You don’t want to, like, look crazy.”
Even so, she doesn’t know why that led everyone to think she’s into women, nor would she hide it if she was!
“I’m not gay. I have literally nothing to hide,” she told the interviewer. “I would never hide something like that.”
Now that you mention it…
She does have a few theories as to why her sexuality has been such a topic of debate for fans, you know, other than the way she keeps things under wraps.
For one, Kendall believes she has “kind of a… male energy.”
“But I don’t want to say that wrong, because I’m not transgender or anything,” she added. “But I have a tough energy. I move differently.”
That said, that E! star won’t rule out a relationship with a woman if the urge arose ― or if she calls it quits with Blake.
“I don’t think I have a bisexual or gay bone in my body, but I don’t know! Who knows?! I’m all down for experience—not against it whatsoever—but I’ve never been there before,” the star admitted.
