Kim Kardashian Takes First Public Outing with Chicago West
Chicago West is camera ready!
Although famous parents, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, tried their best to keep their newest baby away from the media, one paparazzi was just too quick. Dressed in Yeezy Season 6, Kim K was spotted taking Chicago to visit the pediatrician.
The pictures show a nanny and a body guard on Kim’s heels as she pushes young Chi, who was born via gestational surrogate early January, in a stroller. While the stroller is covered in most of the photos, when the mom-of-three lifts the covering to check on her little one, the photographer zoomed in, giving fans their first look at Chicago’s face.
“Healthy, Beautiful Baby Girl”
Chi’s facial debut comes shortly after Kim K revealed her baby girl’s name on her app. The Selfish author revealed the name on a blog entry last Friday, Jan. 19, alongside Chicago’s birthday and weight. While she didn’t elaborate on the inspiration for the name, many credited it as a homage to Kanye’s hometown.
According to the post, the baby was born at 12:47 a.m. PT, weighing 7 lbs., 6 oz.
“Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl,” Kim wrote. “We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care.”
The 37-year-old KKW Beauty founder added that the little one’s older siblings “are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister.”
Little Chicago is Kim and Kanye’s youngest child — following behind big sister North, 4, and big brother Saint, 2 — and the newest addition to the KarJenner clan. The spotlight won’t be hers alone for long though, as pregnant Khloe Kardashian is more than six months along.
The 33-year-old, who recently low-key confirmed her due date, is pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Tristan Thompson. The mom-to-be recently shared how she’s preparing for her baby on her app, writing that she feels she’s approaching the “nesting” stage.
