Kim Kardashian Slams Lamar Odom Over Shady Khloé Diss
Hell hath no fury like a sister scorned
The 38-year-old athlete threw some major shade at his ex-wife during a preview for BET’s Mancave, saying he realized his marriage with the Revenge Body host — who is currently expecting her first child with boyfriend Tristan Thompson — was over “when she was on her second or third NBA player.”
Naturally, the shady jab didn’t sit well with the rest of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians clan. When a fan called out the obvious diss on Twitter, Kim Kardashian clapped back and responded to her former brother-in-law’s insensitive comment with a fiery tweet of her own.
“Or second or third brothel,” she wrote, referencing the basketball star’s multiple affairs during his marriage to the 33-year-old.
As fans know, Lamar was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel in November 2015 from an apparent drug overdose. On the brink of death, he suffered 12 strokes and two heart attacks and spent four days in a coma. Upon his recovery from the near-fatal incident, the former Los Angeles Clippers player completed a 30-day drug rehab program.
During that time, Khloé temporarily called off their divorce so she could help him make sound medical decisions.
The couple resumed their divorce in May 2016 before finalizing the proceedings in December. They were married for seven years in total, though they had already separated back in 2013.
In 2017, Lamar admitted he had cheated on Khloé multiple times while they were together. “If there is one thing I regret when I was married, it was having multiple affairs with different women,” he told Us Weekly during a 2017 interview. “That wasn’t the stand-up thing to do. I wish I could have kept my d**k in my pants.”
In a lengthy essay penned for The Players’ Tribune that same year, he explained his struggles with narcotics drove a wedge between them and confessed the reality star once walked in on him doing drugs with another woman.
“One of the darkest places I’ve ever been was when I was in a motel room, getting high with this chick, and my wife (at the time) walked in. That probably was like rock bottom,” he recalled. “First of all I was in a motel. A motel. I’m a millionaire. I’d made it out of Jamaica, Queens, and won two NBA titles. And I’m in a motel, with some random person, doing coke. But I just wanted to get high with this girl, and I had no other place to go. I couldn’t take her home. You know, I was being a scumbag. Nothing else I got for that. No excuses. No bulls**t. That’s just the truth.”
