‘RHONY’ Star Gets Evicted
The cops had to deal with the situation
Ending the Relationship
Ramona Singer seemed to have a great relationship with her husband Mario, but the pair split up in 2014 during the airing of Real Housewives of New York’s sixth season. While it was hard for Ramona to break up with the father of her daughter, she knew that she couldn’t stay with someone who was cheating on her.
Mario was caught on camera with his much-younger mistress Kasey Dexter much to Ramona’s chagrin.
“Mario’s behavior is embarrassing to me and my daughter. I’m not some pushover. I’m a strong, successful woman. I need someone who is going to treat me with love and respect,” she told People in 2014. She said that he begged her to repair their 22-year marriage, but she couldn’t live with his betrayal anymore.
The couple divorced, and Mario moved on to a full relationship with Kasey. They moved to Boca Raton and chose to live out of the spotlight.
However, it’s not going well for them.
Kicking Her Out
Police were called to Mario’s home on Feb. 1 to deal with a domestic disturbance. According to the police reports obtained by Radar Online, Mario served Kasey with an eviction notice on Jan. 26, and she failed to vacate the home. “Due to the eviction notice, Singer and Dexter were involved in an ongoing dispute over the status of their relationship. Singer confirmed that the argument was verbal in nature and nothing physical had taken place,” the report stated.
Instead of telling Kasey to leave the home, all of the parties agreed that she could sleep in a different bedroom of the house until she had somewhere to go.
Ramona may find Mario’s situation humorous considering how they got together, but she’s got more serious legal matters of her own to worry about.
Ramona is being sued by T360 because she allegedly mistreated an assistant that they provided for her. In the suit, the assistant Lisa Taubes claimed that she was told to “purchase designer clothes for the filming of Ms. Singer’s show.” Lisa would submit the receipts to Bravo for compensation, then Ramona would instruct her to return the clothing so that she could pocket the cash. The suit also says that Ramona would instruct Lisa to submit fake receipts and receipts for things she already owned.
In addition to the possible fraud, Lisa told her company that Ramona was working her overtime and humiliated her when she fired her in a public place. Lisa claimed that Ramona pushed her which caused her purse to spill out on the floor of Ramona’s lobby. T360 is asking for $150,000 in damages.
Bravo has yet to comment on the clothing situation, and Ramona told Page Six that she has “no knowledge of any lawsuit.” She continued: “[My former assistant’s] company did some work for my company. The relationship ended and her company was paid in full for their services.”
