She’s Had Enough! ‘RHONY’ Star Threatens to Quit Over Feud With Cast
Will she really walk away?
Once again, we might have to face The Real Housewives of New York without Bethenny Frankel. The star ― who has taken hiatuses from filming for the popular reality show in the past ― has apparently tried to halt filming for the series once again. With the RHONY Season 10 premiere coming up in about month, rumor has it things of set have gotten too tense for Bethenny’s liking.
“It all began with Carole calling time on their friendship,” a production source dished to Daily Mail. “She’d had enough of being perceived as Bethenny’s puppet and she said enough was enough.[…] They had multiple arguments over the period of filming, the worst when they filmed in the Berkshires.”
Apparently Bethenny’s vicious feud with Carole ― a blowout Bravo has been teasing for some time now ― as well as the mounting tensions between the other women and Frankel, led Bethenny to call the producers and beg to be relieved from her filming duties. The insider said that her request was denied and she was “forced” to continue filming the show, even though the rest of the Housewives would like to see her go as well!
“[The cast feels] they’d all be better off without her as she’s no longer the funny, smart girl next door that everyone liked. She’s become mean and entitled and she belittles the other women…,” an insider told the publication.
According to their report, this isn’t the start of Bethenny’s difficult ways. Not even close! They say the reality personality has been getting into fights with just about anyone and everyone on set! The source reports that her community service trip to Puerto Rico ended in a blowout fight between Frankel and the crew!
On the trip to Puerto Rico ― where Frankel was working to provide aid to Hurricane Maria victims ― a crew member got lost on their way to a shoot which led Bethenny to absolutely lose it. Witnesses from the crew say that she was screaming at the crew member, refusing to let production workers take lunch, and spent all of her time when the cameras weren’t rolling berating others.
“[W]hen the camera was turned on Bethenny was all ‘namaste’ and charitable and soon as the camera was switched off she’d be yelling at the crew,” the production source explains.
