Blac Chyna Faces Serious Drug Claims Amidst Custody Battle
Authorities have been called in to protect the child's well-being.
The embattled exes have been in a heated custody battle over 10-month-old daughter Dream since this summer, and things don’t look to be settling down one bit. With their lawyers now involved in the fight, the former couple are still struggling to come to an agreement over their co-parenting.
Things between the pair have apparently become so bad that authorities have been called in to handle the dispute. According to TMZ, the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services has gone to L.A. County Dependency Court to enlist help from a judge to determine Dream’s safety.
Sources close to the case say an investigation involving Chyna’s alleged drug use has been opened after some parties expressed concerns for Dream’s well-being.
Drug Abuse Accusations
As many know, Rob accused his ex-fiancée of abusing drugs and alcohol after they broke up in December 2016.
In a lengthy online rant accompanied by leaked nudes of Chyna, the 30-year-old claimed his baby mama was one ecstasy and cocaine while she was caring for their child.
“I never want my daughter to be raised by a woman like Chyna who cheats and does drugs and alcohol with my baby in the house. She could only breastfeed for 4 weeks because she wanted to drink alcohol so bad,” he wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post this July. “My daughter is the best thing that happened to me and she will know that Chyna did this out of spite not love ’cause she’s mad my little sister took her baby daddy.”
He added in a note to the 29-year-old model, “You will never see Dream again unless you stop the alcohol and drugs and cocaine and X and E.”
In response, Chyna accused Rob of physical abuse during their relationship and obtained a temporary restraining order for spreading “classic, quintessential revenge porn.”
Taking It to Court
Since then, Rob and Chyna’s tumultuous relationship has continued to deteriorate. As their lawyers have yet to reach an agreeable official arrangement for Dream, the parents will be forced to face other in court.
A source tells People “Rob very much resents Chyna” these days as he prepares for his Sept. 18 hearing.
“Rob is listening to advice from his family and instructions from his lawyer to behave,” the insider says.
“Everyone wants him to be quiet and not get into any more trouble,” the informant explains. “He isn’t happy about going to court, but he also isn’t agreeing with Chyna’s demands.”
