Banned! For what?
When you get a bunch of fully grown celebrities together for a fundraising event, what do you expect? Everything will probably go smoothly, and the event would be a success. What you don’t expect is for the hosting venue to ban the event completely…
The Met Gala, formally known as the Costume Institute Gala, is a fundraising event that happens once a year in New York City. This year the event was hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Huge Hollywood stars attend the event, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Kim Kardashian, Lil Yachty, and plenty more. It usually goes well, but apparently this year it was a disaster.
Radar Online reported that the 2017 Met Gala turned into a living hell. Sources said: “Drinks were spilled everywhere, and guests smoking could have set off the sprinkler system and caused millions of dollars in damages!”
Apparently, the celebrities displayed some iffy behaviors. One source said, “this is a museum with some of the worlds finest art and these guests were acting like they were at the Playboy Mansion.”
The board had enough and banned the Met Gala completely from the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
