TMZ reports that Desperate Housewives actor Gale Harold (also famously known for playing the gay heartthrob role on Queer As Folk) was "seriously injured" in a motorcycle accident yesterday.

Harold is currently being treated in the ICU unit of L.A. County-USC Medical Center.

Harold plays Teri Hatcher's new boyfriend in the current five-years-in-the-future storyline on ABC's hit series.

There is no other word on his condition as of yet. It's not really been a good time for celebs and transportation lately.
