After breaking up with celebrated cocktail waitress Sarah Larson and taking a brief break from the dating scene, George Clooney has apparently weighed his options and decided there's no thing like an old flame to warm the cockles of his heart.

The New York Daily News reports that Clooney is once again dating actress Krista Allen, with whom he was involved on and off from 2002 to 2006.

The paper's source says that, despite two failed attempts to make their relationship last, the chemistry between them is too great to ignore.

"Krista has always been there for him. She admits she just can't get over him," says a friend. And "George really loves her," the source adds.

The Hollywood playboy also has a soft spot for Allen's 11-year-old son, Jake, whom George "adores."

Good luck, you crazy lovebirds! Third time's a charm! Maybe.
