How To Get Kristen Stewart’s VMA Look
Whether you hated or loved Kristen Stewart‘s VMAs look, there’s no question that the Twilight beauty looked unique.
Her makeup artist Beau Nelson recently blogged about just what went into transforming K-Stew from her tomboy style into a glam beauty! Her vision? Pale skin with burgundy smoky eyes.
As for the dress, Nelson, along with the hair stylist and Kristen’s assistant John, helped Kristen pick the dress that would be admired by her adoring fans. After she tried on a few, they ultimately decided on the Valentino, since it was “special and different from what she has been seen in before.”
For the makeup, Nelson was painstakingly careful to make Kristen as beautiful as can be:
“I used Kanebo Sensai loose powder to set the makeup and then applied Kevyn Aucoin The Sculpting Powder under the cheekbones and along the jawline to define her face and cheekbones.
For eyes, I used Dior shadows in Stylish Move, over black pencil, mainly using the burgundy and deep purple shades in the quint, concentrating color along the lashline and blending out. I then applied black liner to the inner rim of the eye and curled lashes with the Shu Uemura 24K gold lash curler, then applied YSL faux cils mascara to lashes, top and bottom.
Lips were a pink-beige gloss called Medusa from Beauté which Kristen happily took with her to the show to reapply!”

She looks really beautiful… I don’t know if I’m starting a rumor here, but I think that she’s gained some weight since the summer (which is good) and this haircut is ideal for a rounder face and the dress has a full skirt (for the first time) and … OMG! Could it be possible? Is that another reason why the security on Eclipse is so tight???!!!

I thought she looked amazing and props to her for pulling off that hair style most women could not pull it off and look good but kristen can, shes a very natrually beautiful girl. (Although i do prefer her with her red/brown hair from last year, she looks stunning with it!, but she stills looks beautiful with the joan jett rocker hair)

wow her skin looks flawless and natural! Her edgy haircut makes her who she is. Kristen has an edgy, rocker style and at every awards show she exhibits her unique style in different ways.
