GoopWatch: Even Gwyneth Pulls Strings for a Table

It’s nice to know that Gwyneth Paltrow still has to make the odd phone call for a dinner reservation.

The 36-year-old A-lister revealed in her weekly newsletter Goop that she’s often tapping her relationship with famous chef Mario Batali to get a decent meal in Los Angeles.

Paltrow confessed that L.A. eatery Mozza, Batali’s celeb-friendly pizzeria, “constantly tests my friendship with Mario because I am always asking for a table for myself or a loved one.”

He’s probably not that put out, Gwyn.

Elsewhere in the fresh Goop, Mrs. Chris Martin lists more favorite places and things about her native Los Angeles (she was raised bi-coastal, with some time in New York), including other restaurants and attractions.

She even confesses that while she hasn’t been to The London West Hollywood, she’s excited to pop by and check out her friend David Collins‘ interior design, and also Gordon Ramsey‘s restaurant within.

“I’m looking forward to trying it the next time I go to L.A.,” she writes.

We’re sure Ramsey will take her call as well.
