With shooting for season two of Gossip Girl underway, it looks like Chuck and Blair—or, rather, Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester—are trying to incite a new fashion trend.

Granted, the setting for the new season's first episode is in the Hamptons, and these characters could probably buy the block you live on and grind it into a strip mall, but isn't tucking a long-sleeve shirt into shorts just a tad too blue blood?

Of course, if anyone knows hip couture, it's It cover girl of the moment Leighton Meester and metro, fashion-forward Ed Westwick.

Oh, just go with it. Target's having a sale, anyway.
