Updates on the story "Cameron Diaz Channels Madonna in V Magazine" on Celebuzz

There can only be one Madonna—which is probably a good thing—but Cameron Diaz does her best to emulate the "Papa Don't Preach" singer in the new issue of V Magazine, which hits newsstands on Tuesday.

The There's Something About Mary actress was shot in London by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot for the photo-spread, which was inspired by Her Madgesty's True Blue period. (Madonna's third studio album, True Blue, was released in 1986.)

Though Diaz wore Prada boots and shorts for the photo session, the conical bra was crafted by the stylist using gaffer's tape. Hopefully Cameron was able to remove it afterward without too much pain.

The tattoos, alas, were painted on.

Tell us what you think in the comments section: Do you think Cameron Diaz makes a convincing Madonna?
