Updates on the story "Emma Watson Is Going to Brown!" on Celebuzz

She's really doing it!

While Harry Potter star Emma Watson has long been rumored to be attending Brown University in the fall (co-star Dan Radcliffe even accidentally said it), she has finally confirmed it to Paste Magazine.

She reveals, "I am [going to university this fall]—to Brown, which is an Ivy League establishment in the U.S.A. I’ve got a place there to read literature."

"I'm not trying to hide or anything like that. It sounds so geeky, but I really do like studying and reading, and if I'm not working on Harry Potter, then my greatest relaxation is to sit with a book," she explained. "That's how I escape stress—in literature."

Is she worried about fitting in with other normal college students, since, you know, she's kinda famous? Watson says, "That’s inevitable, I suppose, some of them must have seen the films over the years. But I do hope that it will be only a short time before I am known as 'Emma Watson, the student from the U.K.' rather than 'Emma Watson who starred in those Harry Potter films.'"

We have a feeling that won't be happening anytime soon.
