Updates on the story "Sleepover at Britney Spears' House!" on Celebuzz

Bust out the popcorn and Barney DVDs—Britney Spears is allowed to have sleepovers with her kids!

Spears and her wannabe rapper ex-husband Kevin Federline visited a Los Angeles court today, and TMZ reports that Court Commissioner Scott Gordon will allow her to have sleepovers with her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Federline was granted full custody of the boys earlier this year, after increasingly bizarre behavior from Spears culminated in two hospitalizations. But Britney's been making strides to appear normal lately, purchasing a home in the tranquil San Fernando Valley town of Calabasas and taking mommy lessons from parenting coach Lisa Hacker.

Congratulations to all involved! But listen, kiddies; if Mommy says, "Wouldn't it be fun to do each other's hair?" run for your lives.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline are in court this morning discussing custody of their children Sean Preston and Jayden James. Britney has her old lawyer, pit bull Laura Wasser, back by her side who is presumably asking for joint custody. Wasser dropped Britney as a client several months ago after having enough of her crazy antics.

The court room has been closed so stay tuned for details and drama.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were in court today for a custody hearing that actually had a happy ending. Both were seen leaving the courthouse in high spirits. Especially Britney who now has overnight visits with her sons. Unfortunately, she destroyed both their beds using them to slide down the stairs when her dad wasn't home. What? She doesn't know how to work the TV. TMZ reports:

Sources tell us Brit Brit, who has been slowly gaining visitation back inch by inch, has made such progress the Commish agreed in court today she's ready to have sons Jayden James and Sean Preston with her overnight. We hear Britney's parenting coach Lisa Hacker was at the hearing today, and answered several questions from the Commish.

It should be noted that, in an unprecedented legal decision, Kevin was granted permission to arm Jayden with a gun during the overnights. At first everyone gasped, then slowly started nodding their heads when they realized it was actually the greatest idea in the history of law. As for Britney, she just sat quietly and ate paper from a legal pad. "Why doesn't this taste like bananas?" she thought.

http://splashnewsonline.celebuzz.com/2008/06/britney-granted-overnight-visi.html

Congratulations to Britney Spears' lawyer Laura Wasser who successfully lobbied to change the current custody agreement between her and Kevin Federline. The commissioner must have been impressed with the case she presented that Britters has shown so much improvement that she has been allowed overnight visitation with her lil' chitlins Sean Preston and Jayden James.

This decision couldn't come at a better time as Sean and Jayden's stash of cheetos, bubble gum, soda, and newport lights hidden in their cribs were going to go stale.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline are back in court to discuss whether or not the 'unfit mother' has become 'fit' enough to regain some custody of the kiddies.

And because we live in a world where every single thing Britney Spears does is observed, reported, and gossiped about, here's a recap of her visit to court this morning:

- Britney wore tan capri pants, a white t-shirt, and dirty-looking hair.
- Kevin wore a tan suit, his mohawk, and lots of chunky diamonds.

- Britney and Kevin did not make eye contact at all (!)
- When Britney got sworn in, she just said 'Britney,' and then was asked to say her full name by the commissioner.
- Both Britney and Kevin left the courtroom looking happy as clams

Turns out the Britster was smiling big after being granted extended visitation with the tots. And if Laura Wasser - the lawyer who quit when Brit went off the deep end was recently re-hired - has her way, Brit Brit will have full custody of the kids by September.
Until then, she gets to practice being a fully fit mommy with lots of bedtime stories.
