<p>Following the tried-and-true reality-TV talent-show model, artists will compete in sculpture, painting, photography and industrial-design challenges to win cash, a gallery show and a national museum tour.</p>

Based on the "Project Runway" format, the show, called "American Artist", will feature artists and scultpors being judged on the merit of their works. The show was created by her production company, Pretty Matches.

I have an idea for this type of contestant-driven show, "Surgical Seconds". Wannabe surgeons get to take part in an operation, but are limited to 60 seconds of slicing and dicing before the next contestant continues: "Nice work with the duodenum Lisa, but unfortunately, you nicked an artery..."]]></description>
