"All of her April activities have been postponed or canceled so she can take care of her voice properly," 19/Jive Records spokesman Wendy Washington told the Associated Press.

Page Six reports that "a medical Website for the University of Pennsylvania described bleeding in the vocal cord as 'a serious problem—caused when a person who has laryngitis uses their voice at the height of infection. Some severe cases may require laser microsurgery.' "

She is expected to rejoin Keys in May. Here's hoping that happens, 'cause Sanjaya is just waiting for his chance to swoop in.
