<![CDATA[Updates on the story "Ricky Martin Just Had Twins" on Celebuzz]]> Ricky Martin is now the father of twin boys, according to a statement released by the "She Bangs!" singer's representatives.

"Ricky is  elated to begin this new chapter in his life as a parent and will be spending the remainder of the year out of the public spotlight in order to spend time with his children," the statement reads.

The boys, who were born a few weeks ago, were "delivered via gestational surgery," a sophisticated medical procedure often used when the would-be father is unable to actually impregnate a female by traditional methods.

Congrats, Ricky! For someone who just had twins, you look fabulous. But then again, you usually do.
