Us Magazine reports that George Clooney has rebuffed offers to reprise his role for the series' swan song this year, because he has better things to do.

Executive producer David Zabel was "optimistic" that they could lure him back, noting, "We have a really good storyline for every character from the past."

However, a rep for Clooney maintains, "He is on the record as saying he is not coming back. He is busy making movies."

And, presumably, even busier making moves.

Still no word on whether Clooney will consider signing on for any future Facts of Life reunion shows.
