Updates on the story "Sarah Silverman: The $2.5 Million Woman" on Celebuzz

Things seem to be looking up for Sarah Silverman these days.

First the Jesus Is Magic funnylady reunites with her beau Jimmy Kimmel.

Now, according to the New York Observer, Silverman has landed a $2.5 million book deal with HarperCollins.

After a heated auction for the rights to the tome, Silverman will most likely meet with editors at three HarperCollins imprints to decide which one will publish the opus.

Alas, readers hoping for inside dirt on Silverman's relationship with Kimmel will be out of luck. The book will be a collection of comedic essays, similar to a proposal that Tina Fey successfully hawked to Little, Brown for $6 million recently.

In fact, Silverman's agent, Daniel Strone, pitched the book to publishers as, "Just like Tina Fey."

Except, apparently, for a little less dough. But no matter; $2.5 million buys a lot of ice cream.
