Yesterday Australia director Baz Luhrmann, 46, joined production designer Catherine Martin, 43, and stars Nicole Kidman and Jackman at the movie's world premiere at Greater Union Cinemas in Sydney.

Kidman, 41, surprised fans just before the premiere by announcing that she'd like to retire from acting for a while "to have some more children."

She and husband Keith Urban, 41, currently have a four-month-old daughter, Sunday Rose, together.

Australia—a pre-World War II epic that follows Jackman and Kidman as they herd 2,000 head of cattle across the outback in advance of a Japanese air attack—washes onto U.S. shores on November 26.
