Leaked photos of Us Weekly's forthcoming cover (above) hit blogs this morning causing a firestorm as the headline announced "Heidi & Spencer Elope!"

The couple escaped from Los Angeles to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, just before this past weekend.  They officially tied the knot at the One & Only Palmilla beach resort outside of Cabo on Thursday, November 20.

"Heidi, from the moment you came into my life, I knew my life would never be the same without you," Pratt, 25, told Montag at the altar.

"The minute we said our vows, I couldn't stop crying," 22-year-old Montag gushed to the magazine.

Naturally, not all was bliss. There was the small issue of sneaking off to marry without consent from Heidi's parents, long skeptical of calculating beau Spencer.

"I called [mom Darlene Montag] right before the ceremony, sort of hinted that something happened...she said, 'Well, if you ever plan on getting married just know that your stepdad is really upset that you want your father to walk you down the aisle,'" said Heidi, adding that she wasn't sure when she'd fully disclose the good news.

After splitting with early Hills boy toy Jordan Eubanks, Montag took up with the villainous Spencer in 2007, announcing their engagement after eight months of courtship. The engagement was broken briefly in the months following, then back on in May of this year.

Since their pairing, the duo has gone incorporated, complete with endorsements, a clothing line for Heidi and a management commission Spencer collects on Montag's career.

"Heidi read me biblical passages like 'Honor thy wife,'" Pratt said of the small ceremony. Let's see if they honor family, friends and a global audience with some Newlyweds action on The Hills.
