Updates on the story "Dennis Quaid Is Dogging It" on Celebuzz

Is Dennis Quaid a proud pooch owner or what?

The 52-year-old actor—who plays General Clayton M. Abernathy in the upcoming GI Joe: Rise of Cobra—braved the holiday crowds at Los Angeles International Airport yesterday to catch a departing flight while carrying his Pug like a cherished baby.

A cherished, well-fed baby, that is. It doesn't look like the hefty pup has been missing any meals lately.

Speaking of hefty, Quaid and his wife, Kimberly, just settled their lawsuit (third item) against Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for the weighty sum of $750,000 this week. The couple had sued the hospital after their newborn twins, Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace, were given an accidental overdose of the blood thinner Heparin in 2007, putting them in critical condition. (Luckily, the twins are doing fine after the ordeal.)

That's a lot of cash; maybe Quaid should consider putting some of it toward a personal trainer for that pudgy Pug of his.
