Updates on the story "Morning Buzz: Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen's Relatives Deny Engagement" on Celebuzz

Tom Brady Sr., New England Patriots player Tom Brady's dad, is denying that his son got engaged to longtime girlfriend, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, on Christmas Eve. "We don't know a thing about it. Nobody told me. We talked to him and there's nothing to say. It's rumor, rumor, rumor," Brady Sr. told the Boston Globe about the engagement that supposedly took place in a private jet with Brady's parents present. Patricia Bundchen, Gis' twin sister, also stated that the engagement story is "not true." Bundchen was also sighted in Boston and NYC this weekend not wearing an engagement ring.

Former WWE professional wrestler and Celebrity Rehab reality show star Chyna (aka Joanie Lawler) was rushed to the hospital early Saturday morning after friends found her unconscious with cuts on her arms after a 36th birthday drinking binge. Chyna was apparently so intoxicated that physicans were unable to perform a psych evaluation in relation to the cutting. Chyna was released from the hospital on Sunday, according to TMZ.

Dancing with the Stars' professional dancer Mark Ballas will have to exit the national tour of the show for "a couple of weeks" due to a groin injury. Ballas reportedly grimaced in pain as he apologized to the crowd during a show at the Staples Center for not being able to give it his all, People reports. Ballas was able to perform in a few routines.

Oprah Winfrey has allegedly been fooled again by an author passing off a false memoir. TMZ reports that Winfrey had referred to Herman Rosenblat's upcoming Angel at the Fence: The True Story of a Love that Survived as "the single greatest love story" after reading his account of how he met his future wife while in a German concentration camp. Unfortunately, an article in New Republic magazine has exposed the story as a hoax. Winfrey had Rosenblat on her show twice, but the book has been pulled from publication. A big budget film of the story was also in production. Winfrey is famous for touting author James Frey's drug memoir, A Million Little Pieces, on her show only to discover Frey had falsified it.

Box Office Mojo reports that Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston's Marley & Me broke box office records for a Christmas release and earned $51.7 million over the four day Christmas weekend. Aniston's ex-husband Brad Pitt's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button earned $39 million.
