Regardless, Paltrow has sent out her first notice from her lifestlye portal Goop, and it's Dear Abbey for the glitterati. The email, in tasteful font and a graceful peppermint backspalsh reads:

    This newsletter really needs very little by way of introduction. I am interested in spiritual disciplines within different religions and schools of thought. I thought it would be inspiring to periodically ask a question to a group of thinkers from various traditions on the subject that often confound me.
