Gwyneth Paltrow Enters the Fitness Business

It isn't enough that Gwyneth Paltrow is an A-list actress and freelance nutritionist.

Now the Iron Man actress, 36, is doing her part to make the world a buffer place.

Mail on Sunday reports that everyone's favorite GOOP-y gal is helping her personal trainer, Tracy Anderson, launch a chain of gyms worldwide. Aside from Paltrow's extremely passable buttocks, Tracy is also responsible for Gwyn pal Madonna's impressively intimidating physique.

"Tracy and Gwyneth are out to make some serious money," a source tells the Mail. "Tracy has a gym in L.A. and has just opened one in New York called the Tracy Anderson Method Studio. Gwyneth is a silent partner and has appeared in all the promotional material."

Previously, Paltrow had produced and directed an exercise video for Anderson. The source says that the pair "have hatched plans to open a chain of [studios] in Europe, Asia and Australia."

Paltrow may be an Anderson devotee, but not everyone is crazy about the celeb trainer's techniques—or at least her business practices.

Several former clients of Anderson's other studios have launched complaints about the trainer on celeb gossip site Gabsmash. Former customers of her Los Angeles studio say the facility is in a state of neglect, with filthy bathrooms. Enraged clients at her Fishers, Indiana, studio, meanwhile, complain that Anderson bilked them out of their pre-paid training fees.

At least if Paltrow does get lured into a scam by her new business partner, she'll be fit enough to give the cheat a thorough thrashing.
