Halle Berry: Still Afrotastic
Here’s Halle Berry, 42, with actor Stellan Skarsgård, 57, filming a scene from her upcoming movie Frankie and Alice on Thursday in Vancouver.
Halle, normally known for being one of the most beautiful women on the silver screen, is seen her with some big hair, no makeup and in a slovenly sweatshirt and baggy, patchwork pants.
Plus, her character is obviously a smoker. Berry is the picture of health in real life.
Berry plays a woman with multiple personality disorder who must struggle against her racist Caucasian alter ego. Skarsgard is her doctor. Sounds complex.
Halle also co-stars the film (which she is also producing) with Grey’s Anatomy‘s Chandra Wilson, 39, and Claire Huxtable herself – Phylicia Rashad, 60.
This sounds like it could be a Farrelly Bros. comedy (Me, Myself and Irene, anyone?), but no – reports say that it will be played as a straight drama, Sybil-style.
Berry has been sporting the extreme Afro do on the set for awhile now.
Her daughter Nahla Ariela, 8 months, with model Gabriel Aubry, 32, must get nervous she’s going to get lost in that someday. Though, it’s probably more fun to play with then the flat-ironed look.
