A shimmery diamond ring that Halle Berry was wearing this weekend had tongues wagging. The Academy Award-winning actress was spotted by some eagle-eyed witnesses with an impressive bauble on her left hand, prompting the obvious question of whether or not it was an engagement ring from her boyfriend and baby daddy Gabriel Aubry.
However, a source assured People magazine that the Amrapali-designed stunner was simply a self-indulgence of Berry’s. “Halle just saw it and thought it was beautiful, so she bought it for herself.”
Reportedly, the sparkler she selected is almost as stunning as that baby in her Bjorn or that man on her arm. The woman certainly knows how to accessorize.
