Hanson Give Mmmm-Props to the Jonas Brothers
It’s taken forever for anyone to finally draw a comparison between ’90s sibling boy band Hanson and new millenium sibling boy band the Jonas Brothers, but better late than never!
Access Hollywood interviewed the fair-haired and all-grown-up Hanson brothers, and asked them their thoughts on the hot-dog happy Jonases.
“On the musical side, I think there’s very little similarity between us and the Jonas Brothers but I think they seem like really talented guys,” said Taylor Hanson. “They care about each other.”
Awww. That’s some boy band brotherly love right there. Well, in one sense, at least.
Taylor continued, “I hope they can translate what they’ve done into a career—a long career—in a similar way that we’ve been able to for many years.”
Well, like it or not, it doesn’t seem like the Jo Bros will be going away anytime soon. Unless, of course, temptation gets the best of them and tarnishes their snow white reputation.

“I hope they can translate what they’ve done into a career—a long career—in a similar way that we’ve been able to for many years.”
What is he talking about? Didn’t they just have that one song and then disappear?
Don’t you think the one in the middle feels like the Tom Hanks of the bunch? I mean, he’s probably marginally more talented than the other two, but so not as good looking.
I wonder if they practice “losing their purity rings” with each other?

No, Hanson had three top ten hits in 1997. Their 2000 release This Time Around only went top 20. Since then, they left their major label over creative differences, started their own label, and have released two more albums. The latest, The Walk, was released last year and was a top 5 independent release. They’ve been touring non-stop, and are touring right now.
