It might seem that one "roaring '20s" birthday party at her mom's house would have been enough for Grey's Anatomy beauty Katherine Heigl

But keeping a flapper-type fur about her, Heigl was treated to a 31st birthday dinner with friends at the Desert Rose in Los Feliz restaurant by her husband, musician Josh Kelley, 28, last night.

Seattle Grace's "Izzie" enjoyed blowing out the candles on a large birthday cake at the restaurant, which opened earlier this fall and features a stained glass rose over its entrance

Heigl is reportedly planning to adopt a Korean orphan because she's not into giving birth.

After all, you can't party like a rock star—or a flapper—when you're expectant with child.
