Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: DVD Extras Details

Good news, Potter-heads! The Leaky Cauldron reports that the British Board of Film Classification has released a list of the deleted scenes that will be included in the DVD of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The scenes, which total 6 minutes and 31 seconds in length, are as follows:

00:00:26:17 ("HARRY AND HERMIONE WALK THROUGH HOGWARTS HALL" (SC. 85))

00:01:00:01 ("HARRY AND HERMIONE DISCUSS MARAUDER'S MAP" (SC. 95))

00:01:04:08 ("HARRY RON & HERMIONE DISCUSS THE VANISHING CABINET" (SC. 118-119))

00:00:38:07 ("HARRY AND DUMBLEDORE ARRIVE AT CAVE ENTRANCE" (SC. 122))

00:00:19:07 ("HARRY AND DUMBLEDORE LEAVE CAVE" (SC. 124))

00:01:39:22 ("CLOUDS GATHER OVER HOGWARTS AS FLITWICK CONDUCTS CHOIR" (SC. 125-129))

00:00:40:08 ("HARRY JOINS RON, HERMIONE AND GINNY IN THE COMMON ROOM" (SC. 140))

00:00:42:16 ("HARRY AND HERMIONE DISCUSS RON AT ASTRONOMY TOWER" (SC. 142))

In addition, the Half-Blood Prince DVD will include an 11-minute featurette about the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park that's currently under construction in Orlando, Florida.

The Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince DVD is due to go on sale December 7.

While the acting was top notch, this was the weakest of the HP movie adaptations by a country mile, and the DVD extras don't sound too great. Fingers, toes all crossed that the final two movies are as amazing as the books!

Awesome!! I LOVED this movie! It was absolutely brilliant. I think out of all the films...this one left the most out from the books, but they still did an amazing job capturing the overall tone of the film! I can't wait to get the DVD...the THEME PARK is going to be so freakin' cool!! The special features are always pretty cool, so I can't wait to get the dvd! :D

Woo hoo!! Lots of Hermione on the features! :-D I loved this one. This is possibly my favorite of all the movies. I cannot wiat to get this DVD!! :-)

This was an amazing movie. The Best yet I think. The Special features were amazing, and I love the bit they added in when the death eaters go and destroy the burrow

Prisoner of Azkaban is still my favorite of all the films. This one started out strong, but its deviation from the book at the end left me very unsatisfied. So hope they do the final book justice!

I can't wait to get this DVD!!! I'm so excited! I saw the movie 6 times in theaters and I'm absolutely in love with it! All the special features sound AMAZING! I'm really excited that they put the JK Rowling documentary on the dvd, because it's so brilliant. Every HP fan should watch it. I wish they would put bloopers on there, but all the deleted scenes sound interesting! December needs to hurry up!! I'm really excited to buy the Ultimate Collector's editions of SS and COS as well!!
