Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora Are Friendly Exes
If Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora are anything to go by, there may be a light at the end of the tunnel for recently-split celebrity couples like Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ross McCall, Katy Perry and Travis McCoy and Patricia Arquette and Thomas Jane.
Melrose Place babe Locklear, 47, and her rocker ex-husband Sambora, 49, were all smiles at their 11-year-old daughter Ava Elizabeth Sambora‘s View Point School soccer game in Calabasas, California.
Heather and Richie were married for just over 11 years. They split in February 2006.
However, the former couple have remained friends in the aftermath of their divorce. Locklear and her current beau, fellow Melrose Place alum Jack Wagner, 49, spent Thanksgiving with Richie and Ava.
“Heather and Richie are very supportive of each other,” a Locklear pal told People in November. “They talk all the time, and any time Ava has something important happening they are there together.”
That’s a great goal for both of them to keep in mind—well, that one, and the goal on their daughter’s soccer field!
