Hugh Hefner is ready and willing to have his way with Miley Cyrus, telling Extra TV at a Playboy Mansion soiree for 2008 Playmate of the Year Jayde Nicole, "Certainly, she'd be welcome to the magazine. She's a very pretty lady."

Uh, actually, the erstwhile Destiny Hope is a kid, mister, but with all the hubbub whipped up over her pseudo-topless Vanity Fair shots, some might think she's already charting her course toward the Hefster.

To the man who birthed an ogling empire, Miley is just another "girl that's causing all the controversy," and he has seen reams of such ladies come and go...and come again. He says we all should just chill: "To make such a big to-do over something as innocent as those photos—I think it's a reflection of how schizophrenic America is about sexuality."

Alas, when first approached about the teen titan, the 82-year-old Playboy czar who currently services a stable of three lovely Girls Next Door, said, Who? Guess those aging memory lapses come in waves.
