Heidi Klum usually looks like one happily-married lady. Why, just Sunday Seal‘s wife was spending a day in the park with her musician hubby and their tykes Leni, Henry and Johan.

So how to explain the fact that the supermodel and newly single John Mayer enjoyed dinner together recently?

Splash News reports that, after Heidi celebrated the launch of her Heidi Klum By Jordache clothing line, she dined with Mayer before the two hung out at Little Italy’s Gold Bar for hours.

Why were these two together? Maybe Heidi was standing up for fellow sister Jennifer Aniston and instructing little Johnny on how to properly end a relationship.

Or perhaps John is trying to be seen with some real star wattage and get his paparazzi asking price back up, since his break-up with the more-in-demand Aniston.

Either way, it’s a safe bet Heidi went home to Seal, and Mayer went home to his little black book.
