Disastrous Up and coming pop star Heidi Montag is rumored to be following in the footsteps of none other than Britney Spears.

No, she's not gearing up for the comeback of a lifetime.... Heidi never really went anywhere (unfortunately), did she?

Rather, she and boozy boyfriend Spencer Pratt will apparently appear in an episode of the series How I Met Your Mother, according to Zap2It.

Britney initially took baby steps at regaining her star status in the spring by appearing in two episodes of the CBS sitcom. She played the romantic interest of Neil Patrick Harris' character Barney Stinson.

No details yet on Speidi's involvement in the show, but the rumored episode is set to air sometime in December.

And, hey, if Heidi can get a president elected—albeit the candidate she wasn't supporting—she can do anything.
