Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt Are Getting Paid
Who says this nation is undergoing an economic slowdown? Certainly not The Hills‘ Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, who have raked in $3 million in the past two years for basically doing nothing except posing for pictures, according to In Touch Weekly.
The endlessly self-promotional couple has reaped a windfall via their TV salaries, club appearances, photo shoots and business deals, the magazine reports.
But $3 million is just the beginning, if these two go-getters have any say in it.
“I plan to win an Oscar,” gushes Montag, who’s yet to even come close to appearing in a movie. “I’m very ambitious.”
Spencer, meanwhile, is harboring ambitions to become the Colonel Tom Parker of the reality-TV generation by mentoring Montag’s singing career. “My hustle is just too crazy,” Pratt offers in a typical moment of humility. “I’m trying to take over the world!”
Hmmm, historically when someone makes world domination their goal, a world war ensues. Which actually might be preferable to hearing any more of Montag’s bikini-clad caterwauling.
I’ll be more than happy to support either of them the moment they decide to do anything significant or worthy of the attention they’ve been receiving. As it is i haven’t seen one shred of talent from them, in any area, so i suppose i’ll stick to comfortably ignoring their existance and changing the channel whenever they come up.

This couple needs to be shunned by Hollywood. They just receiving media attention, which spurs their antics.

Wost part is, you’re right. Their entire career is based on attracting the attention of the general public through the media. Wether we’re cheering them on or trashing them, as long as people are paying attention they’re gonna keep cashing in on it.
