And some people claim that gay weddings are destroying the sanctity of marriage.

Hills villainess Heidi Montag is asserting that she and her Svengali/beau Spencer Pratt plan to get married on live TV.

"I'm just waiting for that big ring," Montag explained during an interview with Extra.

Earlier reports indicated that the couple were leaning on MTV honcho Tony DiSanto to air the nuptials on the former music channel. Plans included a small ceremony in the British Virgin Islands, with catering by Wolfgang Puck and U2 as the live band.

Perhaps the messiah-complex sufferer and her gun-fetishist puppet-master will combine their wedding plans with their upcoming trip to Iraq. The two of them saying , "I do" amid a backdrop of sensless destruction seems somehow appropriate.
