Heidi & Spencer Carry On at LAX

How much luggage does it take to host a New Year's Eve Party? Apparently as much as Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt need.

Celebuzz spies caught the Reality TV couple bustling through Los Angeles International Airport this afternoon, en route to Las Vegas to ring in 2009 as hosts at Christian Audigier The Nightclub.

"Saw the lovely and oh-so-low-key Heidi and Spencer at the Southwest [Airlines] terminal...boarding the 2 p.m. plane to Vegas," the source said.

Montag, 22, and her 25-year-old maybe-husband Pratt were ushered to their gate by an official escort, to which Heidi shuffled in 6-inch leopard print boots.

On top of the escort, Celebuzz is also told the couple "boarded with way more luggage than the common folk are allowed to take on a plane."

Standard airline procedures allow for one carry-on item and one personal item, such as a handbag or briefcase.

So how much extra loot did Speidi get away with stowing?

"Six garment bags," said the spy.

If the extra luggage came at any charge, we're sure the duo has enough to grease plane handlers. While their fee for hosting the New Year's bash is undisclosed, tickets are selling for $150 a piece.
