‘High School Musical 3′ Is a Bloody Smash in England

Maybe Daniel Radcliffe shouldn’t limit whipping his wand out to just Broadway.

Not only is Disney is claiming that advance ticket sales for High School Musical 3: Senior Year are smashing records across the United Kingdom, but Brit cinema chain Odeon “said it had sold £245,205 [or roughly $500,000] in advance tickets, beating the record set by Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire,” reports the BBC.

While that might not seem like much compared to U.S. box office receipts, keep in mind the size difference between the two countries.

And this is all before Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Corbin Bleu and Ashley Tisdale even touch down in London for the U.K. premiere of HSM3.

Chow down on a chocolate croissant, kids—you’ve earned it!

Bust a move! Best friends Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale work up a sweat at the dance studio
Last week they were given flowers as a thank you for choosing to work up a sweat in a dance studio. Which was perhaps why Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale decided to return to the venue just four days later for another slice of the high-octane work out.
