Holly Madison and Criss Angel: The Magic Is Gone

Presto, change-o! Holly Madison and Criss Angel are no longer a couple!

E! Online reports that Girls Next Door star Madison and Mindfreak illusionist Angel have broken up, after what seemed like a magical four-month relationship.

The split was reportedly mutual, and due primarily to demanding career obligations. "It was a conflict of schedules," says a source close to the former couple. "She felt she couldn't devote 100 percent of her time in Vegas and his career at the expense of her career and her goals."

Adds the source, "She was very much in love with him, and they're still very close friends."

Madison, 29, moved into Angel's Las Vegas digs in December. Earlier this month, she quit her editor position at Playboy so that she could spend more time with her beau. The Playmate—who was born in Oregon—has since moved back in with her family.

Up until very recently, things seemed to be going fine with the relationship. The duo appeared to be happy when they attended covergirl Bar Refaeli's Sports Illustrated bash at Vegas' LAX, and were spotted smooching in Vegas on the big day itself.

Just goes to show, your eyes can sometimes deceive you. But then, anyone who's ever seen Angel's act already knew that.

Didn't she just move to Vegas to be with him? I wonder where she is going now, maybe the mansion will take her back!

maybe she was sick of him levitating away when she wanted them to visit her parents. she got so angry, she tried to run him over with a car... that didnt work either

Sorry this one didn't work out Holly. You already embarassed yourself enough on "The Girls Next Door" doing everything but BEG for Hef to marry you, which all the viewers knew WASN'T GOING TO HAPPEN.....we never understood why you ever even considered it might??? Maybe after these experiences you'll learn to try to find a normal guy. Not an old gieser just b/c you know you'll be rich and not a psychotic person, for whatever reason....you should've known those were both just a waste of your time.
