When I was a kid back in the 90′s, I was obsessed with the Kevyn Aucoin books Face Forward and Making Faces that were sold at all the malls back in the day.
One of the habits I learned from the book and still do today is re-shaping my eyebrows with pencil. This is the page that taught me how to do it. Of course, I chose the “Marilyn” brow because I love Marilyn Monroe. Which brow shape would you pick?

This was my project last night, playing baby stylist for my daughter’s first photo shoot which took place today. I can’t wait to get some prints of the best shots! I can’t believe it’s already been a week since I had her! It seems like just yesterday I pushed her out! I’ve been having the time of my life just staying at home, learning to be a mom and bonding with my daughter!
Growing up in Alaska, I used to love collecting abalone shells when I went to the beach or went fishing with my dad. They are so iridescent and pretty on the inside! I found this abalone necklace at Macy’s while putting some things together for my first mother daughter photo shoot this week 
Who saw Oz The Great and Powerful this weekend? I really loved the movie and am obsessed with the makeup in it.
Rachel Weisz was so glowing and I couldn’t believe how they made Mila Kunis’ eyes look even bigger than they are. And I want Michelle Williams’ wig.
