Fox TV’s longest running—and best paid—assault on mediocrity, The Simpsons, once again invades new territory on broadcast television.

The New York Post‘s Page Six reports that Homer Simpson will undergo a screening for colon cancer on September 5.  The long-suffering patriarch will endure a colonoscopy as part of the Stand Up to Cancer fund-raiser to air simultaneously on ABC, CBS and NBC.

Just imagine what the scope might find up there.
