After news of her split with boyfriend of a year, model Paul Sculfor, it was only a matter of time before Cameron Diaz was linked to a hot new boy toy. The actress was spotted dining at Hollywood's Chateau Marmont with Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine on Saturday.

The couple both wore white shirts and jeans and, according to the Daily Mail, "spent more than an hour exchanging flirty glances and conversation over a meal."

X17 is reporting that the two were in no way trying to keep their new relationship on the downlow: "Cameron was unusually happy and she almost WANTED to be seen with Adam. They were drawing attention to themselves in the hotel, trying to get people to look at them."

Levine, like John Mayer, is notorious for his dating record, which includes Jessica Simpson, Natalie Portman, Paris Hilton, Maria Sharapova and Kirsten Dunst.

i think Cameron can do so much better!
