Kathy Griffin took the 19-year-old to the Teen Choice Awards as her “date”.
The 48-year-old comedian told E!’s Marc Malkin, “Long-distance relationships are not easy, especially when he’s in his igloo and I’m in my Hollywood tower.” Levi didn’t say much, the only thing he managed to spit out was, “I just, you know, look at her, shut up and do what I’m told.”
What did Levi have to say? When he was asked what it’s like being Griffin’s date for the show, he admitted, “I just, you know, look at her, shut up and do what I’m told.”
But has Kathy visited the Palin family in Alaska? “I have played Alaska, but so nowhere near where he grew up,” she said. “I played a Rosie [O'Donnell] lesbian cruise there and I’m pretty sure Levi wasn’t on that cruise. I mean, I’m not positive, but I’m pretty sure Levi is not kicking it with the lesbian cruises.”

That was true, in fact, the internet and gossip rags are alight with Kathy Griffin Levi Johnston photos. Kathy Griffin Levi Johnston as her date to the Teen Choice Awards – and he seemed to be appreciative. They aren’t dating – they appeared for a few hours in public – and that appears to be it. Griffin is a comedienne of indeterminate skill – read what you will, some don’t find her that funny – and Johnston is Bristol Palin’s “baby daddy.”
