Hey, Tony Shalhoub; you play a detective on TV. Maybe you should tackle the mystery of why your daughter dresses like a streetwalker.
When he went out for a walk with his daughter in L.A.'s Larchmont Village this week,
the Monk dude must have left his paternal instinct at home.
Otherwise, he might have wondered if his kid should be out in public wearing those hooker shorts.
Is Tony planning for the rumored SAG strike by creating another revenue stream for his household?
The way she's working that water bottle, she just might have a lucrative sideline...

This is his oldest daughter, Josie. She's 19 years old. What does playing a detective on TV have to do with dressing a full grown woman? Even if it was his youngest daughter, she's 14. My neighbors down the street can't get their 14-year olds to dress the way they want to either. Tony can? What country do you live in, because this country is full of high school kids "expressing" themselves in the way they dress. In case you don't keep up, this retro '60s/'70s look is "in" right now. They're all doing it. And she's not "working" that water bottle--she's holding it in her hand. You find that sensual? Do you have pedo tendancies? Wouldn't that be your issue and not Tony's?
If you're wondering where Tony's parental instinct is, I would agree--it is very much at home. It has to be, because I have never seen stories about either of his two daughters in the media. No stories about Josie or Sophie getting drunk at hollywood parties, getting detained at the airport for having drugs in their luggage, no pictures of them flipping out in public after trying to run someone over with their car, no pirated sex tapes of either of them making the rounds on ebay and on the streets--none of that. Aren't Paris Hilton and Brittany Spears keeping you busy enough?
Tony walks through Larchmont Village with his daughter who is drinking bottled water and wearing a retro outfit. How did you manage to cast what is obviously a benign event in such a dark, dark light, and take your shots at Tony at the same time?
I've said this before--this particular outfit is just not to my tastes. This is also NOT my daughter, and so this is none of my business. Tony has apparently gone ahead and raised both of his daughters as he saw fit. The last time I saw pictures of either of them, they were very young. There's just so much screwing up a celebrity's child can do before they ultimately end up in the media--and neither of his daughters has ever ended up in the media. Apparently, they don't screw up.
Tony's never ended up in the scandal rags either, but since he lives in the big, big bubble, he can be scrutinized and picked apart and then ripped apart. What did he do in order to now show up on your particular radar screen? If you have to do so much reaching and twisting and spinning and skewing, he must not be making it very easy for you to make a really big "something" out of a very little "nothing."
